Key Responsibilities

The dentist is responsible for providing general dental care and assessments to inmates in accordance with clinical guidelines and correctional standards. They also provide leadership to dental staff and maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a DDS or DMD degree from an accredited school and possess a current, unrestricted dental license in New Jersey. Additionally, applicants must have a valid DEA registration and be able to pass a security background check.
