About the Role

Join American Addiction Centers as a Medical Social Worker- Oncology in United States. Department: 37300 Advocate Christ Medical Center - Administration: Cancer Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hours Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Monday-Friday 8AM-4:30PM, on site at Christ Outpatient, and other areas as needed. Pay Range $30.

Key Responsibilities

Discharge planning for hospital inpatients Provision of counseling services to patients and families Timely and complete documentation to meet licensure and third party payor.

Requirements

Provision of in-services to assigned units and attendance of educational seminars as appropriate Preparation of statistical records Functions as a member of the care management thematical situation.

Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance.

For patient lifts of over 35 pounds, or when patient is unable to assist with the lift, patient handling equipment is expected to be used, with at least one other associate, when available.

Benefits & Compensation

Hourly rate: $46.05/hr.

Work Schedule

Full-time position.

Call responsibilities required.

No weekends required.
