Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for supervising technicians on duty during shift.
- Responsible for participating in Clinical and Quality Improvement programs established by department.
- Education & Training: Bachelor or Doctorate degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy.
- Experience: Previous hospital/retail pharmacy experience.
Requirements
-, including evaluation, selection, procurement and distribution of drugs, counseling, and professional consultation.
- Ensures compliance with all state and federal regulations as well as policies of Emory Healthcare.
- Interprets physician prescriptions and medication orders.
- Compounds and dispenses prescribed medications and other pharmaceuticals and related products for patient care by performing related duties.
Work Schedule
- Full-Time position.
- Call responsibilities required.
- Day shift only - no nights.
