Key Responsibilities

  • Will Do Performs age appropriate patient assessment and establishes plan of care Demonstrates competence in the performance of age appropriate patient assessment and individualizes care based on age specific needs Demonstrates competence in the performance of age appropriate patient treatment and individualizes care based on age specific needs Motivates non-compliant or unmotivated patients to participate in therapy Utilizes available resources (equipment, support personnel, educational resources) to maximize efficiency and productivity and to meet personal developmental needs As required, participates appropriately in departmental safety drills / emergency procedures Documents and reports unusual occurrences, on the job injuries, and medical device malfunctioning Additional perks of being a Texas Health Occupational Therapist Benefits include 401k, PTO, medical, dental, Paid Parental Leave, flex spending, tuition reimbursement, student Loan forgiveness as well as several other benefits.
