Posting Title: Hemato Pathologist Industry: Hospital Salary: ₹3.5LPM to 5LPM Work Experience: 1+ year Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive morphological and cytochemical analysis of peripheral blood smears, bone marrow aspirates, and biopsies.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive morphological and cytochemical analysis of peripheral blood smears, bone marrow aspirates, and biopsies.
- Interpret laboratory findings and generate accurate, detailed diagnostic reports in accordance with clinical guidelines.
- Utilize advanced laboratory techniques such as flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, and molecular testing to support hematological diagnoses.
- Participate in quality control and assurance programs to maintain compliance with ISO 15189 and other regulatory standards.
Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree with a postgraduate qualification in Pathology (MD/DM in Hematopathology) or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in a hospital or diagnostic laboratory setting specializing in hematology.
- Proven expertise in interpreting peripheral blood and bone marrow findings, including recognition of hematologic malignancies, anemias, and coagulopathies.
- Strong proficiency in laboratory services, including diagnostic testing, specimen handling, and instrumentation operation.
