Key Responsibilities
- & Responsibilities Evaluate and assess new patients independently and work with attending psychiatrists to determine management when necessary.
- Conduct follow-up medication management visits for ongoing patients.
- Provide patient education and brief supportive psychotherapy when appropriate and refer patients for additional psychotherapy as needed.
- Work with inpatient consult service, local obstetric offices, and our medical office coordinator to ensure timely evaluations for urgent cases.
Requirements
- Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in the State of Maryland and be able to obtain a license within three years of hire. Experience in women’s mental health is preferred but is not required, as on
