The Staff Psychiatrist provides direct psychiatric assessment, consultation, and medication management for patients recovering from trauma and related psychiatric disorders. They collaborate with therapists to offer substance use disorder screening and medication-assisted treatment within a multidisciplinary team.
Candidates must hold an MD or equivalent, be board certified or eligible in Psychiatry, and possess a valid California medical license and DEA certification. A minimum of two years of experience with chronically mentally ill patients, preferably with dual diagnoses, is required.
