About the Role

Join Housing Works as a Licensed Master Social Worker in United States. Compensation Range: $65,000 - $70,000 yearly commensurate with experience Benefits: We have three comprehensive healthcare plans to choose from based on your priorities and budget. Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain confidentiality of records relating to client’s treatment
  • Assess each client for risk level and complete safety planning/monitoring as needed
  • Encourage clients to express their feelings and discuss what is happening in their lives and help them to develop insight into themselves and their relationships.
  • Guide clients in the development of skills and strategies for dealing with their problems.

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Social Work required
  • Current NYS LMSW licensure from the New York State Education Department.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in providing mental health counseling/therapy within a clinical setting.
  • Customer service abilities including effective listening skills.
