Physician Neonatologist

About the Role

Become a Neonatologist at St. Charles Health System in Bend, Oregon. Lead newborn care delivery in a Level IIIA NICU with evolving subspecialty capabilities. Provide clinical leadership and oversight for the NICU multidisciplinary team and advanced practice providers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead clinical care in the NICU and perinatal center.
• Provide clinical consultations, admissions, daily rounds, procedures, and discharge planning.
• Serve as medical control for neonatal transport across the region.
• Participate in quality improvement, morbidity and mortality reviews, and outreach to referral centers.
• Provide support for telemedicine programs.
• Share after-hours call approximately 1 in 4 with 30-minute in-person response time.

Requirements

• MD/DO with board certification or eligibility in Neonatology.
• Oregon medical license.
• Minimum 5 years active neonatology practice preferred.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification.
