Key Responsibilities

• This position is responsible for the planning, executing, directing and evaluating direct and indirect nursing care given to the surgical Patient.

• This nursing care ranges from preoperative intervention to postoperative evaluation.

• It is a practice designed to meet a patient’s needs through the nursing process, ensuring continuity of care during the surgical experience.

Requirements

• Evidence of continuing education in the field of OR nursing 2 years minimum as OR experience.

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Work Schedule

• Full-time position.

• No explicit call, weekend, or night shift information provided.
