About the Role

Join NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital as a Social Worker – Eating Disorders, Part-Time in United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to provide individual, family and group psychotherapy and discharge planning to adult patients with eating disorders who also have various co-morbid psychiatric diagnoses.
  • must supply exam date prior to start of employment) Fieldwork or previous experience in a psychiatric setting using CBT and/or DBT Competency in individual, family and group treatment modalities and treatment techniques appropriate to an acute outpatient treatment setting Knowledge base of bio-psychosocial model, DSM-V diagnoses, criteria for treatment of different diagnoses in an acute care setting, behavioral risk factors and of the impact of mental illness upon individual and family functioning Knowledge base of community and discharge planning resources and processes Experience using an electronic medical record Join a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.

Requirements
