About the Role

Join Naphcare, Inc. as a Staff Physician – Correctional Medicine in United States. Overview NaphCare is hiring a Staff Physician to join our team of medical professionals in the AZ DOC - ASPC Eyman located at 4374 East Butte Avenue, Florence, Arizona. Pay rates range from $130.

Key Responsibilities

  • will be responsible for providing quality medical care to meet the healthcare needs of the patients within the facility, while working alongside correctional officers and other medical professionals.
  • Must hold a current unrestricted license as a physician in Florida A current DEA registration in Arizona Be certified in a Board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties Be able to obtain BLS CPR Certification (AHA preferred) Ability to interact effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds, including those with mental health or substance abuse issues Must possess strong written communication and verbal skills and have strong computer skills.
  • Must pass the facility’s criminal background check and drug screening Qualifications Experience / Requirements / Qualifications / Skills Medical degree (MD or DO) Must hold a current unrestricted license as a physician in Arizona A current DEA registration in Arizona Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family or Internal Medicine Be able to obtain BLS CPR Certification (AHA preferred) Ability to interact effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds, including those with mental health or substance abuse issues Must possess strong written communication and verbal skills and have strong computer skills.
  • Conduct and comply with all facility(s) correctional healthcare policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
