The APRN will assist physicians in the care and teaching of oncology patients, including conducting physical assessments, managing clinical trial eligibility, and prescribing medications. They are responsible for documenting patient progress, participating in multi-disciplinary rounds, and providing on-call coverage as needed.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program and possess a valid APRN or PA license. A minimum of 5 years of experience in oncology is required, along with current BLS certification and ANCC or ONS certification.
