About the Role

Join FirstHealth of the Carolinas, Inc. as a Clinical Pharmacist - Outpatient/Ambulatory Pharmacy in United States. Position Summary This role will support the FirstHealth ambulatory pharmacy network. We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and dynamic pharmacist to support our system's two retail locations.

Key Responsibilities

Receives and interprets prescriptions while reviewing the patient's medication profile/history.

Clarifies incomplete, inaccurate, or contraindicated prescriptions with the prescriber, nurse, or other health professional, as appropriate.

Identifies and intervenes on problems related to the medication needs of the patient.

Prepares and dispenses all drugs, including refills, for patient use as ordered and as appropriate.

Requirements

Required Active pharmacist licensure with the NC Board of Pharmacy or obtainable before initiation of employment.

Preferred Previous retail pharmacy experience Experience with Epic electronic medical record and Rx30 pharmacy system Certified immunizer.

Work Schedule

Fixed schedule.
