About the Role
Join FirstHealth of the Carolinas, Inc. as a Clinical Pharmacist - Outpatient/Ambulatory Pharmacy in United States. Position Summary This role will support the FirstHealth ambulatory pharmacy network. We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic, and dynamic pharmacist to support our system's two retail locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receives and interprets prescriptions while reviewing the patient's medication profile/history.
- Clarifies incomplete, inaccurate, or contraindicated prescriptions with the prescriber, nurse, or other health professional, as appropriate.
- Identifies and intervenes on problems related to the medication needs of the patient.
- Prepares and dispenses all drugs, including refills, for patient use as ordered and as appropriate.
Requirements
- Required Active pharmacist licensure with the NC Board of Pharmacy or obtainable before initiation of employment.
- Preferred Previous retail pharmacy experience Experience with Epic electronic medical record and Rx30 pharmacy system Certified immunizer.
