About the Role

Join ProMedica as a Behavioral Therapist - Behavioral Health in United States.

Key Responsibilities

will provide outpatient mental health/substance abuse counseling, therapy, and Employee Assistance Services.

will assess the patient’s emotional, social, and psychological needs and determine appropriate interventions.

will develop a treatment plan incorporating the patient’s identified needs and review the plan monthly to meet the ongoing mental health needs of the patient.

Must have a clear understanding of trauma informed care and experience in using this approach in the outpatient practice setting 1 year experience in setting treating patients with mental health concerns or post graduate work experience (internship) in a direct clinical setting Licensed in the State of Michigan and/or Ohio to practice within their designated discipline (LSW, LPC, LLMSW, LLPC, LLP, LISW, LPCC, LMSW, or Licensed Psychologist) BLS certification required within 30 days of hire or transfer PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS Licensed in the State of Michigan and/or Ohio to practice within their designated discipline (LISW, LPCC, LMSW, or Licensed Psychologist) For staff serving individuals for EAP services CEAP preferred (or willing to obtain 12 months of hire) ProMedica is a mission-driven, not-for-profit health care organization headquartered in Toledo, Ohio.
