About the Role

Join Mercy Health - St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima, Ohio as a full-time Hospitalist Physician Assistant. This role involves acute inpatient care with responsibilities including admissions, consults, discharges, and coordination with the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete admissions, consults, subsequent visits, and discharges
• Coordinate care with case management, social work, nursing, and physicians
• Round on 12-15 patients per shift
• Work 12-hour shifts: day admitter shift 9 AM to 9 PM or night shift 7 PM to 7 AM
• Be available for call about patient conditions per shift schedule including holidays

Requirements

• PA credential with hospitalist experience
• Ohio State Medical Board supervision agreement compliance
