About the Role
Join National Heritage Academies as a Social Worker Special Education – Sky Ranch Academy in United States. This position is full-time, 40 hours per week. School Information: Located in Watkins, Colorado, Sky Ranch Academy opened in the fall of 2023 and serves students K-10.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide group and individual counseling sessions to general education students, as well as monitor the students’ responses to the interventions identified.
- Develop and monitor student responses to behavior intervention plans, including providing support and consultation to general and special education teachers.
- Complete psychosocial assessments to assist in the determination of special education services.
- Conduct functional behavior assessments and communicate the results to all team members in parent
Requirements
- Qualified candidates must hold valid licensure for the state they are working in.
- Master’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution; and
- School Social Worker Special Services License issued by the Colorado Department of Education (CDE); and
- Social Worker License issued by the Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA); or
