About the Role
Join WorkFit Medical Staffing as a Occupational Therapist – 13-Week Contract in United States. We are seeking an Occupational Therapist for a 13-week contract assignment in Syracuse, NY. This position requires experience in both acute care and outpatient settings, with occasional weekend coverage.
Key Responsibilities
- Must work one weekend per month) COMPETITIVE PAY!! The Occupational Therapist will: Administer occupational therapy services as prescribed by a physician Evaluate patients and establish individualized treatment goals in collaboration with healthcare professionals, patients, and families Maintain accurate documentation, records, and related reports Participate in clinics, rounds, and conferences, presenting patient progress and updates Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans Maintain therapy equipment and ensure adequate supplies Participate in staff education and training programs as needed Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy Active New York State licensure or eligibility Minimum of 2 years of experience required Experience in acute care and outpatient settings required Trauma and ICU experience preferred Ability to work one weekend per month Must pass pre-employment health clearance.
