About the Role

Join Empath Health as a Music Therapist – Hospice, Field Based in United States. Tidewell Hospice, a part of Empath Health is seeking a caring and compassionate Music Therapist. Field based position covering Charlotte and Desoto counties Since 1980, Tidewell Hospice has proudly served families across southwest Florida with compassionate, dignified care.

Key Responsibilities

The Music Therapist collaborates with the IDT to implement a plan of care for patients, families and pediatrics, with the approval of the physician, utilizing music therapy

This position provides supportive social services and bereavement services as determined by the patient/family needs and the interdisciplinary Plan of Care.

Demonstrate a music performing proficiency and ability to create an effective therapeutic environment for Patient/Family.

Requirements

Credentialed as a Music Therapist – Board Certified (MT

Continuing Education: As required for licensure.
