Key Responsibilities

The Speech Language Pathologist evaluates and treats patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. They are responsible for developing treatment plans, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring appropriate billing practices.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in speech/language pathology and possess a current Florida license or be eligible for one. A Certificate of Clinical Competence or active engagement in a Clinical Fellowship Year is required, along with current BLS certification.
