Key Responsibilities

Clinical Care Conducts comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, mental status examinations, and diagnostic assessments for individuals of all ages with IDD and mental health conditions.

Manages treatment for individuals with serious mental illness (SMI), treatment-resistant conditions, and complex comorbid medical and behavioral presentations.

Provides psychiatric consultation regarding polypharmacy, metabolic monitoring, and psychotropic risk mitigation in individuals with IDD.

Performs medication management, including prescribing, monitoring, and adjusting psychotropic medications in accordance with evidence-based practices and regulatory guidelines.
