Key Responsibilities

Provides direct psychiatric patient care, including monitoring vital signs, assisting with activities of daily living, and conducting safety observations. Maintains a therapeutic environment by managing patient behaviors, facilitating group activities, and assisting the multidisciplinary team with admissions and transfers.

Requirements

Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health field or a High School diploma with at least one year of direct inpatient behavioral health experience. Must possess a valid BLS certification and, depending on the specific unit, an Arizona or Colorado Fingerprint Clearance Card.
