Key Responsibilities

• The Mental Health Technician will assist with care and observe mentally ill patients under the direction of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Clinical Social Worker.

• This includes grooming needs and observation of any abnormal behavioral or physical signs.

Requirements

• Job Requirements: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.

• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong customer/patient service orientation and commitment to teamwork.

Work Schedule
