Key Responsibilities

of Licensed Crisis Clinician: Direct patient care: Conducts emergency psychiatric assessments.

Interprets the psychiatric and psychosocial needs of the patients and gathers collateral information to determine appropriate disposition.

Conducts advocacy, referral and discharge planning to meet patient/family needs.

Works with patients’ community behavioral health and medical providers to assure coordination of clinical care.

Requirements

lingual Spanish language skills preferred Computer proficient Excellent communication skills, with the ability to establish relationships within and outside their entity Is cognizant of health

related social needs and cultural competence. Recognizes and addresses health disparities
