Key Responsibilities

The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and providing respiratory care for critically ill patients. They also perform procedures such as endotracheal tube insertion and removal while providing education to patients and their families.

Requirements

Candidates must hold an active CRT or RRT credential from the NBRC and possess a current state license. Additionally, a Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required by the start date, and ACLS certification is required upon hire.
