Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with patient exams, ensuring all necessary equipment and documentation are prepared, while supporting providers during testing and procedures.
  • Perform blood draws and phlebotomy with precision and adherence to safety protocols
  • Provide cardiac management by applying 12
  • Maintain clear and empathetic communication with patients, ensuring they feel informed and supported throughout their care journey.
  • Trustworthy: Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle all patient information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.

Requirements

  • lead ECGs, performing CPR in emergency situations, and utilizing an AED to deliver defibrillation when required.
  • Required Availability
  • Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
  • Certification and demonstrated prior experience: State licensed registered nurse (RN) with prior experience placing and monitoring IVs.
  • 2 years of patient triage experience in an urgent care or emergency department preferred

  • Patient Care & Triage: Conduct comprehensive patient triage by taking vital signs, documenting medical history, and performing observational examinations to identify immediate healthcare needs
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with providers and other healthcare professionals to relay patient information and updates.
  • Technically savvy: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software, experience with or ability to learn Experity as well as other business systems.

Work Schedule

  • Accurately process and call in prescriptions to the patient’s requested pharmacy in compliance with provider instructions.
