Key Responsibilities

This position is responsible for the planning, executing, directing and evaluating direct and indirect nursing care given to the surgical Patient.

This nursing care ranges from preoperative intervention to postoperative evaluation.

It is a practice designed to meet a patient’s needs through the nursing process, ensuring continuity of care during the surgical experience.

Requirements

Evidence of continuing education in the field of OR nursing 2 years minimum as OR experience.

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Work Schedule

Full-time position.

Day shift only - no nights.
