Occupational Therapist, (OT) - Home Health Senior Living

About the Role

BAYADA Home Health Care seeks a part-time Occupational Therapist (OT) for home health visits in senior living communities around Wake Forest and North Raleigh. Serve adult and geriatric patients on a per-visit basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct home visits within assigned territories.
• Evaluate functional status including muscle function, endurance, and ADL/IADL.
• Assess cognitive, psychological, and motor performance.
• Evaluate home safety and recommend equipment or adaptations.
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitative care.
• Document care using electronic tablets.

Requirements

• Current North Carolina OT license.
• Minimum one year recent OT experience.
• Graduation from accredited OT program.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
