Key Responsibilities

Conducts initial assessments.

Provide Mental health counseling to individuals, groups, and families Provides crisis intervention as needed.

Assures maintenance of all case files and other records in strict compliance with policy and Joint Commission regulations.

Coordinates treatment planning.

Requirements

Candidates must have two years of inpatient psychiatric experience and experience working with children, adolescents, or adults in a hospital setting. A valid, unencumbered license in Texas as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) is required.
