Key Responsibilities

• of the Overnight Counselor are to provide services to adults who have a diagnosis of mental illness and living in a stabilization group home.

• Specific duties of the Overnight Counselor included: Be available to clients at all times to provide guidance and supportive counseling.

• Complete hourly checks.

• Providing rehabilitation skills such as teaching of daily living skills including medication management and coping skills, crisis intervention, and prevention.

Requirements

• Skills/Qualifications for the Overnight Counselor include: Demonstrated ability in helping others.

• Six months to a year’s experience working in human services required.

• Both the ability to work independently and as a team member.

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

Benefits & Compensation

• Salary: $45,926

Work Schedule

• Full-Time position.

• Weekend coverage may be required.

• Night or evening shifts may be required.
