- Provide direct patient care in the inpatient and perioperative settings.
- Perform comprehensive surgical floor-level care, including patient assessment, postoperative management, wound care, and coordination of multidisciplinary care plans.
- Function as a first or second surgical assistant in the operating room as needed to meet staffing demands or support complex cases.
- Collaborate with attending surgeons and care team members to facilitate timely and safe patient throughput across the surgical service.
