About the Role

Join University of Iowa as a Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapy in United States. The North Liberty Hospital department of Rehab Therapy is seeking an Occupational Therapist to specialize in hand therapy. This candidate will administer treatment to patients with complex physical dysfunctions, disorders and/or injuries and evaluate and interpret findings.

Key Responsibilities

  • will administer treatment to patients with complex physical dysfunctions, disorders and/or injuries and evaluate and interpret findings.
  • will primarily be assigned to an orthopedic outpatient setting.
  • will involve hand and upper limb rehabilitation including fabrication of customized splints in an outpatient setting.
  • Provide quality patient care, evaluation, assessment and treatment appropriate for patient’s needs.

Requirements

  • 3 years experience in Occupational Therapy · 1
  • 3 years experience in the rehabilitation of the upper limb with emphasis on the wrist and hand including fabrication of customized splints · 1
