Join Utah Navajo Health System as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in United States. Description UNHS is looking for a Full-time skilled individuals to become members of our Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner program. We know there is someone out there that will make an excellent addition to our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including mental status examinations, patient histories, and risk assessments.

• Diagnose psychiatric conditions and develop evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications in compliance with state and federal regulations.

• Provide supportive psychotherapy, psychoeducation, and crisis intervention as appropriate.

Requirements

• Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP

• BC) by ANCC or equivalent board, DEA registration with prescriptive authority for controlled substances. Minimum of 1

• centered, and trauma

• date PPD skin testing, if previously negative (OR) Proof of positive PPD skin test with the most recent chest x
