About the Role

Join Utah Navajo Health System as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in United States. Description UNHS is looking for a Full-time skilled individuals to become members of our Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner program. We know there is someone out there that will make an excellent addition to our team.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, including mental status examinations, patient histories, and risk assessments.

Diagnose psychiatric conditions and develop evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Provide supportive psychotherapy, psychoeducation, and crisis intervention as appropriate.

Requirements

Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP

BC) by ANCC or equivalent board, DEA registration with prescriptive authority for controlled substances. Minimum of 1

centered, and trauma

date PPD skin testing, if previously negative (OR) Proof of positive PPD skin test with the most recent chest x
