About the Role

You help make life better by ensuring patients are informed and confident in their drug therapy—playing a vital role in their overall care and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • CLINICAL DUTIES: Optimal patient care outcomes from drug therapy are ensured through clinical pharmacy activities.
  • Such activities are age appropriate for neonates, pediatric patients, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients, and in direct association with or in support of health care providers.
  • The pharmacist will: Demonstrate clinical competence by completing the clinical competency modules assigned in the electronic learning system for the pharmacist role.
  • Review and evaluate an individual patient’s medication profile and clinical status to determine appropriateness of current medication therapy.

Requirements

  • Education: Graduate of accredited School of Pharmacy.
  • Licensure Current Registered Pharmacist License (RPh) for applicable state required.
  • BLS for Provider certification from the American Heart Association required within 3 months.
