About the Role

Join Children's Nebraska as a Medical Social Worker – Endocrinology, M-F Schedule in United States. Schedule: Monday-Friday,8am-4:30pm 2 Holiday On-call shifts every two years, 1-2 on-call shifts every 2 months. At Children’s, the region’s only full-service pediatric healthcare center, our people make us the very best for kids.

Key Responsibilities

Covers for Social Work colleagues in their absence, and arranges for coverage of social work responsibilities when absent.

Communicates with co

workers regarding coverage needs.

Provides consultation/interventions regarding legal issues such as determining guardianship and assisting with adoption cases.

Requirements

Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work Required Experience Qualifications

3 years of supervised experience as a Social Worker in a clinical setting Preferred and

Medical Social Work experience Preferred Skills and Abilities

Requires knowledge of human behavior, social problems, counseling modalities, and community resources.

Work Schedule

Full-Time position.

Call responsibilities required.

No weekends required.

Day shift only - no nights.
