About the Role

Join Children's Nebraska as a Medical Social Worker – Endocrinology, M-F Schedule in United States. Schedule: Monday-Friday,8am-4:30pm 2 Holiday On-call shifts every two years, 1-2 on-call shifts every 2 months. At Children’s, the region’s only full-service pediatric healthcare center, our people make us the very best for kids.

Key Responsibilities

  • Covers for Social Work colleagues in their absence, and arranges for coverage of social work responsibilities when absent.
  • Communicates with co
  • workers regarding coverage needs.
  • Provides consultation/interventions regarding legal issues such as determining guardianship and assisting with adoption cases.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work Required Experience Qualifications
  • 3 years of supervised experience as a Social Worker in a clinical setting Preferred and
  • Medical Social Work experience Preferred Skills and Abilities
  • Requires knowledge of human behavior, social problems, counseling modalities, and community resources.

Work Schedule

  • Full-Time position.
  • Call responsibilities required.
  • No weekends required.
  • Day shift only - no nights.
