Key Responsibilities
- AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide rehabilitation services under the direction of a physician.
- Instruct, prepare, and reassure resident of treatment being performed.
- Provide physical therapy interventions, including but not limited to strengthening exercises, balance training, joint mobilizations, gait training, and manual therapy techniques.
Requirements
- relative to their age specific needs and provide care needed as stipulated in departmental policy.
- Maintain records associated with resident's treatment.
- Record treatment results and progress notes accurately and legibly in resident charts.
- Communicate information to the director and physician on resident’s treatment progress as directed.
