Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for adults in a home healthcare setting with acute care needs.
  • Implement therapy interventions to improve activities of daily living, mobility, cognition, coordination, and safety within the home environment.
  • Perform home safety assessments, recommend adaptive equipment or environmental modifications, and train patients and caregivers on use.
  • Document patient status, progress, and goals; maintain accurate records and communicate with the interdisciplinary team and referral sources.

Requirements

  • Active Occupational Therapist license in South Dakota or eligibility for SD licensure.
  • Graduation from an accredited OT program (degree required).
  • Ability to work a 13
  • week travel assignment with guaranteed 36 hours per week, dayshift.
