Requirements
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited nurse practitioner or physician’s assistant program, with completion of a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner program preferred, and hold the required state license. One year of experience in a psychiatric health care facility is preferred, and both CPR and De-escalation certifications are required within 30 days of employment.
