Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Care: Provide a full range of psychiatric services as required by the facility's mission.

• Patient Safety: Adhere to all established patient safety and infection control standards, including active efforts to prevent medication errors, falls, and patient injuries.

• Documentation: Complete all required clinical documentation, including Quality Management (QM) and Performance Improvement (PI) paperwork regarding procedures, complications, and outcomes.

• Incident Reporting: Notify the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) of any patient safety incidents within 24 hours and document them in the VA Patient Safety Reporting System.

Requirements

• Education & Certification:

• Licensure: Must hold a current, full, and unrestricted license in one or more U. S. states. Providers with a history of restricted, suspended, or revoked licenses will not be considered.

• Citizenship: Must be US Citizen

• Security: Must pass required background investigations and comply with all VA privacy and cybersecurity training. \n

• Salary: $447K

• PSLF eligible (Public Service Loan Forgiveness).

Work Schedule

• Full-Time position.

• No weekends required.
