About the Role

Key Responsibilities
- Communicate information regarding any changes in a patient’s condition to the program staff, such as Clinicians, Therapists, RN’s and other MHT staff.
- Utilize sound judgment during assessment in order to observe and document any changes in a patient's appearance, behavior, or ability/inability to work towards meeting treatment plan goals.
- Ensure awareness of patient's individualized plan of care.
- Document patient’s information and treatment plan, interventions and the patient's response to intervention(s).
Requirements
- High School Degree or equivalent required Certified Nurse Assistant preferred.
- Required Experience: At least one (1) year of related experience in psychiatric or behavioral health.
- Psychiatric Technician: 1 year (Preferred) Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
- Successful completion of CPR and Handle with Care or Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 30 days of employment, and prior to assisting in restraining procedures.
