About the Role

Join Long Island Select Healthcare Inc. as a Occupational Therapist – Travel Required in United States. 1. General Purpose of the Job Responsible for the evaluation and overall provision of Occupational Therapy to patients who need sensorimotor rehabilitation, activities for daily living training, and range of motion to get through their day.

Key Responsibilities

  • The Occupational Therapist participates in the treatment of individuals through the use of physical agents; appropriate exercise, stretching or other generally accepted therapeutic practices.
  • Participates in the assessment of fine motor, perceptual motor, sensorimotor function 3.
  • Tests and evaluates patients' physical and mental abilities and analyzes medical date to determine realistic rehabilitation goals for patients.
  • Determines therapeutic goals.

Requirements

  • on the completion of outcome measures.
  • Willingness to provide services in multiple sites as determined by patient/patient need.
  • Maintain specified efficiency level as determined by supervisor.
  • Travel required as needed to perform job.
