The Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor (LPMHC) in the Veterans Addiction Recovery Center (VARC) provides a range of counseling services in the addiction services programs. VARC offers a broad range of residential and outpatient addiction assessment and treatment services, including Screening & Assessment, Detoxification Services, Opioid Replacement Treatment, Gambling Treatment, Women's Addiction Treatment, and Men's Addiction Treatment.

Major duties include, but may not be limited to

Serves as a full member of a clinical interdisciplinary team providing diagnostic, counseling, and care planning services for a complex group of clients who may have psychiatric and medical problems in addition to substance use or addiction problems

• Manages and coordinates major aspects of mental health care for an assigned caseload of clients, including the development, review, update or modification of individualized treatment plans, demonstrating sensitivity to the special needs of all clients.
