About the Role

Join NYU Langone Health as a Psychiatric Social Worker – Per Diem Weekends in United States.

Key Responsibilities

Consistently ensures patient dignity and respects patient values and operates within ethical standards.

Demonstrates ability to assess and reassess the needs of the patient as per regulatory guidelines.

Accurately assesses the needs of assigned patients within the parameters of length of stay and discharge criteria.

Demonstrates the ability to communicate needs of patients with treatment team.

Requirements

Ensures confidentiality of all patient information encountered by obtaining required consents for release of information.

Completes progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge plans in a timely and high

quality fashion and according to department standards.

Adequately documents all patient encounters in chart on a consistent basis and takes responsibility for chart organization for easy access to information.

Benefits & Compensation

Salary: $60.49/hr

Work Schedule

Per Diem position.

Weekend coverage may be required.
