Location: Messino Cancer Centers Pay Range: $26.54 - $49.29 Job Description Summary: Answers incoming phone calls regarding patients. Consults with Head Nurse and/or physician to present patient’s problem and resolve the problem or direct calls to appropriate person.
This position offers weekends off. Work with American Oncology Network in Asheville, North Carolina, United States.
The nurse is responsible for managing incoming patient calls, performing clinical triage, and coordinating care with physicians and hospice agencies. They must maintain accurate patient logs, handle prescription refills, and facilitate communication between patients and the medical team.
Candidates must hold a nursing degree and a valid RN license in the state of employment, along with current CPR and BLS certifications. Previous experience working with hematology or oncology patients in a clinical or hospital setting is required.
