Key Responsibilities

• Inpatient admissions managed by Hospitalists.
• Evaluates and treats patients with appropriate medical diagnostic and treatment skills. Coordinates discharge planning with case management.
• Recommends, participates in, and works to ensure the success of efforts to improve cost effectiveness and quality of care provided to patients.

Requirements

• Ascension Saint Agnes is looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Hematology/Oncologist for our Cancer Institute.
• Licensure / Certification / Registration:
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physicians obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required
• Verified by local Credentialing Office
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required

• Salary: $377,436 - $648,873 per year

Work Schedule

• Schedule: Full Time
• Call Schedule: 1:5 to 1:6 weekends by phone with in-hospital consultation, if needed.
• One in 6 weekend call, mostly from home.
• Participates in inpatient and outpatient consultation for specialty, which may include on call schedules.
