Key Responsibilities

• such as airway management and tracheal suctioning.

• Assesses pain that interferes with function or rehabilitation participation and notify the physician for appropriate intervention.

• Performs arterial punctures to obtain ABG samples; recognize potential complications and contraindications.

• Performs EKGs, document/report results per department procedure, route to requesting providers, and file reports appropriately.

Requirements

• for Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist CPR/BCLS certification.

• Minimum three years of cardiopulmonary/respiratory care experience highly preferred.

• Mechanical ventilation and airway management.

Work Schedule

• Per Diem position.
