Key Responsibilities
- such as airway management and tracheal suctioning.
- Assesses pain that interferes with function or rehabilitation participation and notify the physician for appropriate intervention.
- Performs arterial punctures to obtain ABG samples; recognize potential complications and contraindications.
- Performs EKGs, document/report results per department procedure, route to requesting providers, and file reports appropriately.
Requirements
- for Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist CPR/BCLS certification.
- Minimum three years of cardiopulmonary/respiratory care experience highly preferred.
- Mechanical ventilation and airway management.
Work Schedule
- Per Diem position.
