Key Responsibilities

• Prepares, administers, and documents medications and therapies including chemotherapy and/or biotherapy according to organizational policy and procedures.

• Provides conscious sedation as indicated for procedural needs in clinic and for patients receiving radiation at an alternate site with oversight from a provider.

• Participates in Rapid Response Team assignment and triage call assignment.

• Communicates data and information to other members of the Health Care Team.

Requirements

• Active American Heart Association BLS and PALS certification. PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• One (1) year of pediatric or PICU experience and bedside nursing in the past 2 years. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

• Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, stoop and reach.
