Key Responsibilities

Assists provider by collecting patient history and reason for visit.

Completes observation, physical exam, telephone triage, and analysis of diagnostic data.

Ensures that all ordered laboratory and diagnostic tests are tracked and logged and that the provider is presented with all test results.

Provides education to patients, ensures education materials are current and appropriate, and evaluates the effectiveness of patient education.
