Key Responsibilities

The Staff Pharmacist is responsible for the accurate and timely review of medications being processed and dispensed, including interpreting orders, verifying entry, performing drug utilization reviews, and conducting final checks on dispensed products. This role also involves corresponding with medical and nursing staff and achieving set productivity and quality requirements.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a current and active Illinois Pharmacist License and are preferred to have long-term care pharmacy experience, with FrameworkLTC knowledge being a plus. Essential soft skills include the ability to multitask under deadlines, maintain a positive demeanor, proactively resolve issues, and demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.
