This position qualifies for federal student loan forgiveness. After 10 years of qualifying payments while working full-time for a nonprofit employer, the remaining balance on your Direct Loans may be forgiven.
About the Role
Join Inova Health System as a Physical Therapist (PT) Acute Care PRN in United States. Inova Alexandria Hospital is looking for an Outpatient Physical Therapist (PT) to join our Acute Care team. This position is PRN or as needed for intermittent coverage needs Inova is consistently ranked a national healthcare leader in safety, quality and patient experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Documents the results of evaluations clearly and completely by including all essential elements according to department policy.
- Completes discharge notes that include a summary of the course of treatment, progress toward goals, discharge needs, recommendations for follow
- up and patient and/or family education.
- Documents clearly, concisely and legibly within established timeframes (e. g. allow other therapists to continue treatment, allow for interpretation by payers, supports reimbursements).
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy
- Licensure: Virginia Physical Therapist License or Physical Therapist compact privileges required upon start
- Certification: BLS from the American Heart Association required upon start. Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree preferred
